At the heart of our rescue is a dedicated team of volunteers who give their time, energy, and love to help Great Pyrenees in need. Our board members are a passionate group of dog lovers—each bringing unique skills and boundless compassion to the mission. Though they come from different fields, they all share one thing in common: an unwavering commitment to giving these gentle giants a second chance at life, love, and a forever home.

Meet Our Team

Hi, I’m Amy. My husband and I brought home our first Great Pyrenees in 2017 to protect our livestock—but we quickly learned they do so much more. These gentle giants have not only guarded our sheep and goats, but they’ve also comforted us, surrounded newborn lambs with warmth, and shown a level of loyalty and intuition that still amazes me. Life on the ranch wouldn’t be the same without them. So many Great Pyrenees need a second chance, and we are excited for our venture to be able to help as many of these majestic animals as we can!

Hi, I’m Melody. I’m a nationally cited insurance expert and financial educator, passionate about helping people make their money work smarter through strategic planning and tax-advantaged strategies. When I’m not advising young professionals and business owners, I’m proudly volunteering with Pyrenees Keepers. Supporting this nonprofit not only saves these loving guardians, but also offers meaningful tax benefits for donors. I live in South Florida and love travel, dancing, and time with pups.

Hi, I'm ChristyAnne. I never considered myself a "dog person" until my son Brendan met his first Great Pyrenees at Amy's farm. Watching him connect so naturally with these gentle giants opened my heart—and soon after, we brought home our own pup, Penny. Despite living in a small home near Portland, she’s become the heart of our family and a beloved part of our neighborhood. As the Urban Rehoming Specialist for Pyrenees Keepers, I’m passionate about showing others how beautifully these majestic dogs can thrive in city and suburban life.
